The MAMCO and HEAD are pleased to invite you to the opening of Quickkopy Conceptualism. Bay Area Dada to Bay Area Punk, the result of a collaborative project launched in autumn 2025 by the MAMCO team, HEAD students, and visiting researcher Branden W. Joseph.

Born from an exploration of the archives of the Geneva-based collective Ecart, the exhibition traces the postal exchange networks that connected alternative art scenes across the West since the 1970s. It highlights the Dadaist and punk spirit of the San Francisco Bay Area through fanzines, collages, performances, and audio or video documents — all testaments to a scene that challenged meaning, gender, authority, and institutions.

The opening will be an opportunity to discover this journey through rare artworks and archival materials, accompanied by postcard-making workshops, a DJ set by Amos Krakover, and a bar.
