At 6:00 p.m., meet at the RATH Museum to explore the exhibition dedicated to the work of Sylvia Sleigh, which challenges and subverts conventional ways of viewing portraiture and the nude genre through the lens of 1970s feminism.
Then, at 7:30 p.m., head to the MAH for a guided tour of the collections on the theme of “from the heroic gaze to the erotic gaze.”

As part of the Sylvia Sleigh and Refaire collection exhibitions, we invite you to a practical workshop dedicated to close observation and the representation of the human form. Moving away from traditional academic constraints, this exercise allows you to explore key concepts present in the exhibited works: the relationship between viewer and model, the deconstruction of body objectification, the art of posing, and the female gaze.
