MAMCO regularly loans works to institutional venues around the world. In 2017, these included MHKA in Antwerp, FRAC Pays de la Loire, Musée d’art moderne et contemporain in Saint-Etienne, Centre Pompidou Metz, Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam, MUDAM Luxembourg, Folkwang Museum in Essen, and LUMA Westbau in Zurich.  In addition, MAMCO lent an important group of works by Franz Erhard Walther for his retrospective at Museo Reina Sofia in Madrid; several works by Philippe Thomas for an exhibition organized by young curators in Vna, Engadine; a selection of works for the National Museum of Fine Arts in Buenos Aires; while the impressive sculpture by Adel Abdessemed welcomed visitors to artgenève 2017.
