Open House

Thierry Davila, curator at MAMCO, reflects on the social and artistic context of the work of American artist Gordon Matta-Clark. Open House, created in 1972 and nicknamed “the Dumpster” by visitors, is one of the museum’s iconic works and has been part of its permanent display since 1994.
