Interview with Sarkis, a Turkish artist of Armenian origin, conducted on the occasion of the new presentation of MAMCO’s artist spaces, now brought together on the museum’s fourth floor. The artist discusses this emblematic space — the last remaining “cabin” assigned to artists when the museum was founded in 1993 — and reflects on the origins of the project, his relationship with the MAMCO, and the principles guiding its ongoing renewal.
