Maurizio Nannucci
Cabinet of concrete poetry
Produced on the occasion of the inauguration of the Concrete Poetry Cabinet, this interview with Maurizio Nannucci revisits the foundations of this movement — particularly its international scope — and the close connections between visual and literary practices. Conceived around the Zona Archives — a collection assembled under the direction of Gabriele Detterer and Maurizio Nannucci, comprising more than thirty thousand documents on art and avant-garde practices — this exhibition, for which the artist was co-curator of the first version in 2016, features a conversation with Paul Bernard, Curator at MAMCO, who also discusses the integration of this cabinet into the museum’s collection.
