Sarkis
L’Atelier depuis 19380 — (LSF)

Created at the museum’s opening in 1994, L’Atelier depuis 19380 is the last remaining example of the “cabins” originally assigned to artists at MAMCO’s founding. The space of Sarkis, a Turkish-born Armenian artist, located on the museum’s fourth floor, is a personal, memory-filled place that continues to live and evolve over time in the artist’s absence. Presentation in French Sign Language (LSF) by Sonia Tedjani, Association S5.

The MAMCO videos in French Sign Language (LSF) are broadcast by TV5Monde and presented as part of a 15-episode mini-documentary series, available on the channel via  this link.
