As a prelude to the opening of Quickkopy Conceptualism. Bay Area Dada to Bay Area Punk, HEAD students invite the public to join a collective action at the Bains des Pâquis, starting at 5 PM.

On this occasion, they will pay tribute to the performances carried out in the 1970s by Anna Banana and Vincent Trasov (aka Mr. Peanut). By restaging their famous costumed parades, the students will reactivate the spirit of play and subversion of these two historical figures, who deconstructed identities by claiming their impertinence and questioning meaning, gender, authority, and institutions. The public is invited to join the procession, in costume or not; costume elements will be available on site to facilitate this collective participation. Following this free event at the Bains des Pâquis, attendees are welcome to proceed to the exhibition venue, LA FABRIQUE – HEAD, for a festive and convivial gathering.

Quickkopy Conceptualism. Bay Area Dada to Bay Area Punk is the outcome of a seminar led since autumn 2025 with American researcher Branden W. Joseph, a specialist in the Dadaist scene of the Bay Area. The project aimed to bring to life the archives of the Geneva-based collective Ecart—deposited at HEAD during the renovation of MAMCO—through a focus on the artistic networks of the San Francisco Bay Area in the 1970s.
