This film presents an interview between French artist Claude Rutault and Cyrille Maillot, chief stage manager, filmed in 2018 on the occasion of the creation of the Inventory — a permanent space dedicated to documenting and updating the artist’s “definitions/methods” within the museum. In the video, the artist discovers the space and reflects on the fundamental principles underlying this work.
