Flying Guides

As part of its educational mission, the MAMCO invites artists living and working in Geneva to take over the museum’s galleries. Well-versed in contemporary practices and art history, these “flying guides” are available to visitors for unique exchanges.
More flexible than a guided tour and more engaging than a standard wall label, these spontaneous interactions offer an original way to deepen your visit according to your own curiosity. Do not hesitate to approach them to discuss a work, an artist, or a movement.
When? Throughout the duration of the exhibitions.
Rate? Included with museum entry. No reservation is required; simply approach the guides present in the galleries.
Late Openings

Late Nights offer extended opening hours for a privileged moment of discovery. Each event highlights a specific theme within the current exhibitions, blending historical perspective with a critical look at contemporary art.
Developed in collaboration with invited guests (artists, researchers, critics) and Geneva’s cultural partners, these evenings provide a unique format combining guided tours, performances, screenings, and informal exchanges. It is the ideal opportunity to rediscover the works in a convivial atmosphere and to end the day in an original and inspiring way.
When? In the evening, according to a monthly or bi-monthly schedule. Please consult the museum’s agenda for exact dates and details of upcoming events.
Rate? Free for all. No registration is required; access is granted on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to capacity limits.
