The MAMCO Genève is pleased to announce the launch of the telephone number associated with the project Dial-A-Poem Switzerland.

Inspired by the work initiated by John Giorno, this poetic broadcasting device invites the public to listen to poems by telephone, extending the experimental and participatory spirit envisioned by the artist. Simply dial the dedicated number and let yourself be guided by the voice.

Organised by MAMCO in collaboration with Giorno Poetry Systems (GPS), Dial-A-Poem Switzerland brings together voices from Switzerland’s different linguistic regions. Poets, writers, thinkers, figures from theatre, cinema and the music scene: each has shaped their practice through language — its meaning, its sound and its resonance.

The project will be launched at the Bains des Pâquis, outdoors, where a telephone will be installed in a former phone booth. The number can already be called at +41 22 539 40 91 to listen to poems by:
